It actually did show the reflective and dark regions but I think all that did was make us more curious.  I can't believe how those Cassini filters worked to see right through the haze.  Those where the photos I voted for, Titan - finally! I saw it as an elementary school student and have never forgotten it.  I've since heard that it was produced by the Eames folks, the same ones known for their excellent furniture designs.
