I use my laptop outside at night in the dead of winter while I'm doing my astrophotography. My computer controls my telescope and powers my telescope's USB camera. A pair of heated USB gloves is just what I need to keep warm! Put the fun back in science and encourage hands-on learning. It's only too bad United Nuclear can't process more orders in time for the holidays, but it'd be worth the wait. It was small, about 2 or 3 inches long, and skinny, with an eyepiece at one end. I'd go into a dark room or closet and hold the thing up to my eye and watch the green streaks for hours. I'm not I knew at the time that is was radioactive! So, I don't think this is anything new...just proves what goes around comes around!
