RE Educational HiJinks...
Princeton U School of Architecture...late eighties...their building was an innovative solar gain/loss project involving thermal window blankets and roof fans/openings, etc...
On April Fools day, the students rigged the lines for the window blanket ropes to open the wrong holes...windows closed when opened, roof vents went haywire, etc...April Fools...
I spent about two hundred hours re-rigging and replacing the Solar/Thermal System...free lance...on the clock...top rate...after the weather damage had been repaired...probably $50K total loss to school...all compliments of the Architecture students who are currently designing/developing our new infrastructure.
They were good at destroying the thing...but couldn't follow a single piece of rope for ten feet when it came to putting things back together...
GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE...this is not a joke!

Sometimes an April Fools joke can backfire in a good way. On April 1, 2008, ThinkGeek featured a personal soundtrack shirt on the website. They had a full product description and they even had a video of it in action. If you tried to order it, you were greeted with a "Gotcha! April Fools" message.

However, they received so many requests for the item that they actually had it designed and produced. It took them about six months to release it for actual sale. My two sons and I have them. Although, at times I wish I had not got them their own soundtrack shirts. Have you ever experienced dueling personal soundtracks?
