Big bang machine faces new delay

Posted: Tuesday, July 21, 2009 11:51 PM by Alan Boyle

CERN
A worker makes preparations for closing up one of the sectors in the
Large Hadron Collider's underground tunnel.

The scheduled restart of the world's biggest particle accelerator has been delayed another few weeks, until mid-November, due to vacuum leaks in two sectors of the Large Hadron Collider's underground tunnel.

Word of the fresh delay came on Monday via the CERN Bulletin, which is published by Europe's particle-physics center. And if the past year is any guide, this may not be the last postponement.

CERN has been working on repairs to the 17-mile-round collider ring on the French-Swiss border for the past 10 months. Amid international fanfare, scientists started sending beams of protons through the $10 billion machine last September. However, less than two weeks afterward, the LHC had to be shut down for an estimated $29 million in repairs - due to a wiring problem that caused a helium leak and did significant damage to the machine's underground magnet assemblies.

CERN officials initially scheduled the machine's restart for the spring of this year, then for September, and then for October. On Monday, the Bulletin said that the repairs and testing were "proceeding well," but that vacuum leaks were detected last week in two tunnel sectors that had already been sealed off and chilled down for operation.

Repairing the leaks will require warming up those sectors of the tunnel back to room temperature, then cooling them down again. "It is now foreseen that the LHC will be closed and ready for beam injection by mid-November," the Bulletin said.

The cold temperatures and hard vacuum are required for proper operation of the magnet system used to accelerate the LHC's proton beams to near the speed of light. Eventually, the LHC's proton beams will be smashed together in experiments aimed at unraveling the mysteries surrounding dark matter, the origins of the universe and perhaps the Higgs boson, a not-yet-detected particle that theorists believe plays a role in imparting mass to subatomic particles.

Some have voiced fears that the LHC could create globe-gobbling black holes or other catastrophic phenomena, but the best experts in the field say there's essentially no chance of that happening. A lawsuit seeking suspension of operations at the LHC on safety grounds was thrown out by a federal judge last year. That case is still on appeal, however, at the 9th Circuit Court in San Francisco.

For much, much more about the LHC, check out our special report.

I've gotta say that I was fairly excited to see this thing get turned on and see what it was capable of showing us.  Unfortunately it seems like the only thing it's capable of showing us is delay after delay after delay.  I understand that such a complex and huge machine takes a lot of work to keep going, but when is it going to actually start going?  So much time, money, and effort has been poured into this.  Hopefully after this new "snaffu" it will actually be turned on, wow us, and make us all a little smarter in the ways of the universe
To bad they have more problems, hope they get back up and running soon. This is important work and I need more work units to crunch. We need a project like this in America, only updated for the modern or new tech like meta-materials. We need a project with a toroid with 16 particle accelerators coming together in 1 central point. We need more research in exotic mater traps and recombining mater particles to find new elements and molecules. America is falling behind in science and math and needs to catch up, and try to even lead at some point. Oh well just my 2 cents.
That's a little disappointing. But I'm sure once it's up and running they will discover something amazing.
it's iunteresting that we are already embroled in a lawsuit that has no scientific basis on the world slargest science project that was built in order to gve us a better understanding of science, quantum physics and dark matter. Hate never shows much reason.
I am reminded of Galileo...
Black holes?  That's all their worried about?  What about opening portals to other dimensions or reealms?  The last thing we need is for the earth to get over-run by dimensional beings and who knows what?
Good Day to all!!

Regarding this Bing Bang Theory, simply say, okey
I Agree, how it form the galaxies, universe, but expermenting how it works or made is not advisable to perform in my point of view,
Its beacause, i read one news before, that you wants to know the mystery and heavenly matters how it appear, how it creates, any energy, forces, complexity must be there.
We are governed by a stable gravitional force, any disturbance to this gravitional force will be beyond our control, for me when there is an energy transform will occupy space with respect to time.
And if this happen, just check if the moon will not be attracted to the earth, what is the result? any forces, energy, is there will be absorbed by the others, then will be having a resultants, and in your experiments that is based on nuclear science or study, we know how this energy works, in just second we say, we cannot react, what we will do? Let this earth stable, and make experiment to other planet, let see what happen there?
the only thing they're after is antigravity in the 10 dimension.
I am all for this machine being turned on, but if the delays keep happening and they finally are going to turn it on but its December 21st, 2012....Dont let them haha
"Some have voiced fears that the LHC could create globe-gobbling black holes or other catastrophic phenomena".
Seriously, please stop bringing this stupid s*** back up, let alone titling your article after it.
Save Embarrasment, money, and gefinger pointing and simply admitt Schwartzchilde sic was correct.
There is anisotropy in time that confines energy tto a point in space. Space is the "immovable object" and time the "irresistable force".
The question once it gets started is will they find the particle dubed the "G-d" paricle; Higgs Bosom I believe.  I wonder if they can answer questions that relate to quantum gravity and multi-dimensional universes.  Maybe if we can open a way into another dimension, could we use it to creat short cuts in space for FTL traveling?
People are living in squalor throughout the world and the haves throw money at such folly.      What a shame!!!!
The Hadron Collider is the world's largest 'machine'.
Statistically speaking, there are so many parts (components) in the Hadron Collider that probability analysis indicates that there will be 'at least' one failing or failed component in the collider at any given time.
So far, the brief history of the collider demonstrates this conundrum (too complex to ever work correctly).

.
lol Apocalypse, I thought the same prior to your post.

interesting post John Charles Webb, Jr.
Mr. Boyle, a wonderful article.
Robert, Why would we need 16 beams intersecting at a point, when particle accelerators only get a few percent of particles to meaningfully collide in head-on collisions?
Daniel, it is interesting to some that someone would sue on the given basis -- no physics or case law will be established, but the historical rise and fall of an argument from ignorance is nevertheless interesting.
Jason, I suspect you added other arguments from ignorance as a way of thumbing your nose at the poorly developed black hole sensationalist claims. A bit more substance might help clarify your position.
asdf -- Well said. :)
Mr. Stein -- The Higgs particle is expected on the basis of the Standard Model, the simplest interpretation says it requires one. To that theoretical extent, finding a Higgs that behaves as expected won't radically revamp physics, nor unite gravity with the other 3 forces.
John, would you please link to your calculations if you are not just making up facts?
Mankind as a species has gotten to where we are today through the andvencement of science. To those that don't want this machine turned on, I ask why? If this machine can yeild even the smallest step towards the advancement of knowledge, then we should trun it on. There are risks in everything that we do in our daily lives. This machine is no different. We won't know the outcome until we try no matter what the theories predict, so lets give it a try and find out.
Jason, I suspect you added other arguments from ignorance as a way of thumbing your nose at the poorly developed black hole sensationalist claims. A bit more substance might help clarify your position.

Well RPenner,

I am not "thumbing my nose" at amything.  If there were any mroe research or thought given to "off the wall" scenarios then my comments might have more substance.  To some these comments may seem like fantasy, but can you scientifically prove what will not happen?  How can you be 100% sure that no rifts or gates will open?  Can you be 100% sure that there is nothing living in other demensions?  Please show me that the world has absolutely nothing at all to be comcerned with over these matters.
Man, don't you people ever sleep? Does the fear of black holes keep you up at night? What happened to science education in this country? Will I die a virgin? All this and more... Tonight at eleven!
This LHC is a fubar project. Between now and november they will probably announ ce additional delays. The design is just wrong. Every time some little thing breaks like a wire, you must warm it up and that thakes months. I am all for science but if the CERN people are not going to do science that our governments must not allow them to keep wasting our money like thisAnd I do not agree that even if the LHC gives us a little advancement in science, than it is worth pursuing. There must be a better valuation of these experiments. As in cost versus returns. 6 billion dollars or euros to discover a higgs boson that the Tevatron in the us will probably discover first and that has no currently known technological application? I'd say: go fish. This like that movie: "if you build it they will come."
JESUS IS COMING!

Maybe this will be the rationalization for the
dissapearance of millions of people around the
world who are going to taken up with Christ to
fulfill Biblical prophesy.
The quantum guys have taken it too far.  I'm sorry, but gravity isn't a particle or a substance of any kind.  It's a condition of space, a warp of space due to the presence of a mass.  It will never be reconciled with the other 3 forces except in science fiction.
Thanks Alan for the update on the LHC startup, even if it is sad news.  I thought that they couldn't run the LHC during the winter months so I'm wondering why they're shooting for a November startup.

Alan am I misremembering this that the LHC can't run during the winter?

Anyway I can't wait for the Big Bang Machine to crank it up and start smashing particles so we can see if the scientists can find the Higgs Boson.  Hopefully that crackpot high school science teacher gets a life and a clue and stops his nonsensical whining about the LHC creating a black hole that will gobble up the Earth.
people from another dimesion can make things any worse than we already have.
Jason, I hear you!

No one can prove to me that the invisible, ethereal, purple spaghetti monster from Dimension X isn't going to gobble me up! They can't!

I just know its coming and that I should spend all my time worrying about it!

I'm totally freaking out!
This reminds me of when they launched Hubble. Politicians and populists balked at the costs and continuous delays.  However, looking back it seems Hubble was one of the best investments man ever made.  It still provides a flood of scientific data.
Jason Abernathy, Carthage, MO
I'm assuming that RPenner, CA is from CAnada.  It's a different culture up there and they don't use sarcasm the same way we do.  A direct read of your comment comes across like they're silly to worry about a MBH when the real threat is from transdimensional beings.  Or, as suggested, you might be throwing in some additional ridiculocities to make fun of the doomsdayers.  I haven't read enough of your stuff to tell if you're making fun or just waiting to be made fun of.
RPenner the reason for so many is that so little exotic mater is made with 1 and with multiple, and 1 central collision point. We could make a exotic mater trap at that point with some of these new meta-materials and magnetic trapping techniques . In doing so we would get enough particles or molecules to do other experiments . Also could help with experiments with anti-mater and anti-molecules . Lots of possibilities start to open up with a multi ring collider with one central point. It just seems to be the next logical step to me . Just my 2 cents :)
Well Tim Rommes,

You are right on the first part I can't believe some people actually really do freak out about some of these things and are completely serious.  You should just do a google search and see how many people really belive in this stuff. Do you really think it is Canada not California? Finally someone who can read into whats actaully been said not what's assumed.
What if they rediscover "flubber". Remember what happened the last time. LOL. Actually, this thing is very interesting. I do wonder if the LHC machine becomes obsolete after a few spins. And you all know what Joseph Newman (inventor of the Gyro-particle) has to say about all this.... "clowns pouring out of an automobile"...tsk, tsk.   Here's the bottom line: if there's any spare parts left over I could use them to build a new kind of whiskey still. Whiskey Collider.  Has a ring to it. No pun intended. Meanwhile, get ready to pop a cork. And let 'er rip!!!
Ok first off, for the black hole people . The event happening is such a small event and so fast . We are only measuring the after effects of the event . Not enough mass to grow and disappears almost as fast as it is made . einstein and hawking predicted some of this, there is some good books out there on the subject . We will be measuring the after effects of the event wich happens so fast a second is a long time . There is so little mass to the black hole that it destroys it's self almost instantly . If you want to be scared, then worry about bananas attacking . The potassium 40 in bananas has natural decay rate, and 1 antimatter particle is released every 75 min. or so, from the antimatter or positron . 600 bananas equals 1 normal X-ray from a modern doctors X-ray machine . Don't blame the messenger here is a link strait from LCH blog http://blogs.uslhc.us/?p=1625 . Gotta love students with to much time, and a lot of good knowledge of science and math .

Now for the multi dimensional beings . It's not going to happen ! At least not from this . The short time frame and how small it exists as stated above not to say the other dimensions would probably be a singularity type or energy type as some theory's suggest . Very, very, very, unlikely that another universe exists in the way most perceive with intelligent life too boot . This event last for such a short time and is so small, that if you stood in a pitch dark room you probably wouldn't even see it . I think this was propagated to an extent by michio kaku on science channel, yet was miss understood . I was shocked when he said that but, soon after realized the math & science didn't quiet fit the way it was poitraid . Yes we can have multiple dimensions even with some of this math, wormholes and energy and some mater may exist in other dimensions, but it's either part of our universe warped into a gravitational bubble singularity type or exists as a energy type or types . We need more science to find out .
We need better math and science teachers and professors too, The ones around me are to easy to stump at times .
The Large Hadron Collider is a quark factory that will deconfine millions of quarks. 99% of its production shown in this graph will consist on Quark Fermion condensates, with properties similar to black holes. In June at Haifa, Atomic Condensates rotating at supersonic speed, became Dumb holes that absorbed all sounds, without evaporating, proving that Quark Super-fluids made at CERN, rotating thanks to their strong force, 100^3 times faster, at c speed,  could absorb light and matter and won’t evaporate. Because in Nature all what is possible happens (Totalitarian principle), Quark Fermion Condensates should happen at LHC, making  prohibitive for Public Policy the risk for Earth of CERN’s experiment. CERN affirms LHC carries no risk, but critics contest neither Haifa or Fermi's satellite images showed black hole evaporation and the Company’s safety report doesn’t study Quark Fermion Condensates. All this said, since it seems a custom of human 'believers' to die for their gods, particles, idols, machines or burning bushes, the news are certainly good news. It means we will have christmas after all.

Wow, I just found your cosmic log and I am going to favorite it. The collider to me seems a mountain of money spent on = building something we obviously do not understand. If we did understand how to work it, the dang thing would not keep breaking. I cannot imagine any government or group of people spending this kind of money-- to find the big bang question. The obvious is==- if it does not destroy things –it would not be built (humans do not build things to save- they build to destroy= it is human nature isn’t it) this type of thing scares me, and I think it should scare everyone. I am glad it broke and I wish they could not fix it. Yes, I realize --particle machines =created the internet but what contribution thus far has that made to society? Certainly I love the ability to get online and find information that pertains to something relevant-- but isn’t that  rare.
"best experts in the field say there's essentially no chance of that happening." Not the same as impossible is it?
Stephen, I think "essentially no chance" covers it. Right now I'm listening to the 28-CD audio version of Neal Stepnenson's "Anathem" as I drive to work and back. The book is sometimes a bit of a tough slog (but hey, so was "Ulysses"). Anyway, some of the dialogue in the book relates to the different meanings of possibility and impossibility. (Are pink nerve-gas-farting dragons something to worry about? How about striped NGFD's?) The term that's being discussed in the book right now is "compossible" ... something that can logically follow from a string of events dictated by natural laws. In this sense, I would say the globe-gobbling black hole scenario is not compossible. Here's more about NGFD's:

http://blackiceuphoria.livejournal.com/249825.html

... And more on compossibility:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compossibility
Alan, Compossibility in the Leibnizian meaning, is the fact that God will produce all what can reasonably exist, because the Universe is creative and perfect. It is the totalitarian principle of physics: particles that can exist will exist. Quark Fermion condensates can exist and will behave like black holes. When CERN designed lhc this was not known. Now cern defends a 'factory', not the truth.
We found afterwards that quarks 'lock their color' and create 'cooper triplets', fusion each other into a condensate superfluid with the exact properties of black holes. So they should happen. At RHIC nobody expectd them. They thought a gas would happen and we found a perfect fluid with properties similar to black holes. Einstein postulated that black holes would have a substance or else they won't exist. And he described it with his articles on condensates. So why this will not happen at CERN? Wishful thinking at CERN does is not the scientific method. We all wish and believe we won't die. But we do. So what is the solution to wishful thinking? responsible science and responsible governments. We have none of that in this case. What CERN proposes instead? lies to the press to cover up a 13 billion $ mistake. Ask any expert in cosmic rays if we ever found a quark in cosmic rays. Never. So why CERN says this happens in nature? Where nature deconfine and makes quark condensates? only inside stars that explode into novas. CERN says this doesn't happen in the universe. Yet 96% of Universal matter is ultradense, cold dark matter that can only be made with small black holes, among the proved particles, etc. etc.
This is industrial corruption no science. If we can't reason truth in science, because machines and technology is 'always' good, we are no logner free. Because CERN lies with obvious falsities as the argument of cosic rays, it is the responsability of the media to 'research' and 'inform', and it has thoroughly failled in this case. But wishful thinking won't change the laws of the Universe. 'Those who impose truth with power will be the laugh of the gods' A. Einstein
Ok first luis sancho I'm not fully sure what exact part of CERN you don't like but I will give it a shot . First off you stated that dark mater was small mass, when actually they think it is in a super wave or so big we see right threw it . Think of a quark or electron out at the side of a galaxy and the its core elements or proton neutron are some where in close to the middle of the galaxy . The elements are there but just exist in a super wave and we see right threw them . That's just 1 example of some of the super wave functions that CERN is exploring for dark mater . CERN does a lot of different experiments when running and has a big back log to churn out . I personally would like to see more of the periodic table filled out from some of the work being done there . If you have worries about a particle accelerator realize that a old tube T.V. has a particle accelerator in it . CERN helped us find out the top quark and it's decay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03ffrEpvFXk . CERN is searching for dark mater that may exist in the super wave forms all around us . They have also done a few things with tangled pairs . As for the sub atomic particles you say have properties of black holes, well I think it was better put as worm holes or sub atomic worm holes to be more precise . Also faster than light travel threw a super wave function using worm holes is being looked at, just to name a few things CERN is doing . Now to your argument of CERN not being science, well I would say just look at the work already done, and that's just the surface of what will be done to . It seems you jump to a few conclusions before fully informing yourself of the science and the math coming from the project . Quantum science has some weird things and weird effects and making leaps every day . The only thing to worry about is exotic particles and the decay, or radioactive particles created right after a collision that stay in the chamber . Remember there is a multi reaction effect right after the collision . Some of the new math modeling is helping sort some of this out for better modeling . As for your cosmic ray part I'll let you figure it out with the competing theory's that are already out their . And remember if a banana get's mad at you it might be shooting you with antimatter . :) Sorry couldn't help myself . Don't you think if they thought something might go wrong we would know and most of them probably wouldn't even work there . This is pretty sound science we just want more precise readings for figuring out how some things work . We have had particle colliders running for a long time now, and the world is still here . In the words of hitch hikers guide to the galaxy " Don't panic ! " . Oh well hope this clears some air . Oh 1 last video link or 2  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hohp_HTrYZc&feature=related and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SARgkwczvAE&feature=channel this is part of why I contribute time to crunch work units threw BOINC http://boinc.berkeley.edu/ . Opps guess 1 last video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puw6bh29y2E&feature=SeriesPlayList&p=AB4B2ABA98F92A7D . Do you remember real genus and the closet that opened up to a carnival like trolley . Who got the room that opened up to this trolley from the video :) . After all luis sancho do you want to be left behind in a third world country or would you like to keep up with the rest of the world ?
I have serious concerns whether this experiment will be made to have a danger of doing this experiment
I wonder about the unseen effects on other scientific research that might have occurred had this incredible tax eating machine not been built.

As for Black holes and Dark matter they may not exist except as mathematical suppositions to support theories going further and further from reality.

I think that advocates of the electric universe school of cosmology have a more convincing explanation for many astronomical phenomena.
The LHC has had its problems in large part because it was built as inexpensively as CERN could.  They balanced risks versus cost.  They lost the bet via a combination of quench protection systems and inadequate equipment to check conductor splices with resistances in the nano-ohm range - five orders of magnitude smaller than one sees in usual home or industrial settings for splices.

Fermilab had similar problems in the first days of the Tevatron.  For that matter, the recent main injector upgrade, a room temperature accelerator, took three years to meet specification due to a variety of small glitches.

If CERN had had substantially more money the changes since last year would have been part of the original project.  The superconducting magnets might have been provided more margin by a change in superconductor, adding tantalum to the alloy.

C'mon, lets boogie. Crank it up. Let the good times roll. Mind if I take it for a "spin"? LOL   I'm wondering what you'd get if you collided a bottle of Wild Turkey with a bottle of Swiss water. Probably the best drink on the planet. Say, does this machine produce any sound? A buzz or a hum of some kind? If so it could be recorded and sent out to and played in bars that have a "big bang machine" hour. The drink? A Whiskey Collider (whiskey and Swiss water) And then, a video of what it looks like from a particle's point of view that's being accellerated to the point of oblivion, followed by an amusement park ride and a do it yourself version for beginners. All I can say is: "Slow down, take it easy." The particle is there, emanating from The Supreme Personality Of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna. Look, bees make honey and navigate by the sun. We can't make honey. But we can help the bees with hives and whatnot. It,s just a thought.

                                                Fred

[ALAN ADDS: I'll have one of those Whiskey Colliders, Fred!]

there was a man who predictded this thousands of years ago and he said a giant sun in geneva WILL end the world so if a bunch of scientists want to do this thing i think there risking the world for there own little bit of knowledge i think there just greedy
The CERN experimental instrument's failure calls for some restudy of materials such as vacuum hoses, which could mean a look at the nanostructures and quantum effects bearing upon the integrity of the apparatus. Researching the particles accelerated could bring new information about the fundamental constituents of matter, one case being the W particle.  The findings have pointed at quarks and strings, and the string of ~10^-36 J seems to be a very likely factor.
One analysis by mathematical modeling based on the Schrodinger equation for one atom achieves the picoyoctometric 3D model by series differential expansion of nuclear radiation of forcons with valid joule values.  It is a feature of relevance to particle acceleration research.  This model stems from addition of the relativistic Einstein-Lorenz transform functions for time, mass, and energy to the workon quantized electromagnetic wave equations for frequency and wavelength.  The nucleoplastic surface junction layer mass transforms to force fields by a rising series of rates, and quantum symmetry numbers are assigned along the series to give topology to the solutions.
The atom pulsates within spacetime limits of {gravity-time}, building the GT integral atomic waveparticle function with the frequency {Nhu=e/h}.  The electrons are taken as standing overtone wavenodes of nuclear radiation with the correct fine structure constant.
Next, the atom's internal momentum function is rearranged to the photon gain rule and integrated for GT boundaries to yield a series of 26 topological waveparticle functions, each an energy intermedon of the 5/2 kT J internal heat capacity energy cloud, accounting for all of them.  Those joule values intersect the sizes of the fundamental physical constants:  h, h-bar, delta, nuclear magneton, beta magneton, k (series).  Each is displayed as a picoyoctometric 3D model.  The result is the 3D interactive video model image of the atom, detailing it's strings dynamically.
Images of the h-bar magnetic energy waveparticle of ~175 picoyoctometers are available online at http://www.symmecon.com with the complete RQT atomic modeling manual The Crystalon Door.  TCD conforms to the unopposed motion of disclosure of 04/02/2001 in U.S. District (NM) Court titled The Solution to the Equation of Schrodinger, U.S. copyright TXu1-266-788.

hello ,the scientists are the best people to make decisions about what we ought to try .i WISH there were more than just a few questions to answer with the lhc .I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT SCIENCE if beings from another dimension come here we could always confine them somehow or even kill them if necesary. science its the only way. peace out
The Mayan calender stops in December 2012. Nostradamus's prophesies stop in December 2012. The LHC will be doing high energy collision research around December 2012. Coincidence?
Why MSN don't allows my comment? This is 3rd time I tryed:

Fact 1: THE largest amount of money that every (developed) government on earth is spending is for weapons.

Fact 2. LHC is founded by a large amount of money, provided by the world (developed) governments.

Fact 3. LHC is work on creating a man-controlled black hole.

Fact 4. Black holes are known to make everything around to disappear….

Hmm…Looks to me that there is a very simple answer to what the LHC is all about…Work on a brand new super weapon so powerful that can make anything disappear….clean shot, no radiation, no heat, just puff…and object is gone! Perfect weapon if you are asking me!

So, who are they (our governments) going to disappear with that LHC anyway? Each-other? While there is no doubt that some people in some governments would love to see at last some militaries or perhaps entire counties disappearing in to the cold black hole, I doubt that in that case our governments will do the job on weapon together.

There must be something else, something that suddenly united our (world) governments and the only logical answer is that there is another threat to all of us, bigger then what we apply to each other.

Fact 5. You don’t have to believe that (I could not either) but couple of weeks ago, me and my family witnessed VERY strange event on our old blue sky: Two moons, one to the left and one to the right side of the sky. One to the right was so super sized, so huge, that we could clearly see black shades of its terrain, so clear that I almost crash our car! Next time I looked, that planet was gone.

I am not digital artist but I attempted to recreate the sky we witnessed… image bellow should resemble two moons in size, distance and positions:

Up to that moment I was never interested or believed in UFO and other sci-fi theories. But that evening, I did some search on the internet and learned for the first time about Planet X, Nibiru, Doomsday 2012, Maya calendar, anicent propecies about the end of the cycle  …wow! everything made perfect sense.  Apparently, Planet x is already caught by our sun gravity so the earth doomsday is now inevitable.  Meanwhile, Planet x will periodically appear and quickly disappear from our sky until we disappear. Unless, we are going to do something about that. Fast.

Not possible? When planet of that size is near our system, sun activity must increase, causing the global worming… wait, we already have global worming….even NASA can’t deny that sun activity will be strongest in 2012…and our own planet gravitation must be under stress, so we should see world wide tsunamis reapedingly, with rumors of super tsunamis, earthquakes… wait, we have that as well!

OK, so how much would the world super weapon cost and what kind of government can provide that money on such short notice?

Weapon that makes all world nukes combined looking like a cheep backyard firework MUST be THE most expensive project in the human history. All governments must provide the money…according to abilities. Even more I would say, looking at the sudden and artifical current “global” economy crisis where hundred of billions of dollars are disappearing daily in strange “bailouts” that no one care to explain exacly…

Why our governments are hiding this from us?  Just imagine the world wide panic and anarchy if this facts are known to the people and you already know the answer.

NASA analyst the other day, at NASA official web site, clearly frustrated with tons of questions about planet X, stated that NASA is a large institution, therefore incapable of holding secrets….if it wasn’t scary, it will be funny. Next day, that and many other “wrong” statements where removed from NASA site and more appropriate, “scientific” answers appeared, telling us basicaly that there is nothing to worry.

Hopefully, NASA’s recent bombing of our moon’s surface (”looking for water”?!?) was the practical testing of our new LHC weapon and not just the silly attempt to “push” our moon into the planet X orbit.

So, the Planet X is heading our way and you can only hope that LHC is work on the world’s new super-weapon designed to make it disappear before it destroys our world. If that’s true, you should also hope that we are going to fix that darn LHC on time. Planet from the other day looked way to big and way to close to us already!

Hopefully again, by the end of 2012, we will know about the planet X as much as we the (regular) people today know about who killed Kennedy.

If however, our governments start making public statements about approaching planet, that will be our governments telling us goodbye. In that case, (internet) stories about governments underground facilities for surviving the doomsday are probably true and chosen few will watch the rest of us disappear.  Those who survive doomsday will probably be haunted down by the machines rather then soldiers, since they could never be considered loyal citizens to the governments that once betrayed them.

Every time Man plays with nature We cause problems. Maybe we should leave this one alone. It may cause problems We Can Not foresee. You know We as humans always can foretell what will go on, just look at our history! We should turn our interests to the sea's here on earth. There is so much we don't understand already. Why not answer the questions that the science community Can't answer NOW!
