Hmmmmm....impact didn't extinguish the dinos? The author of this study (Keller) and a handful of others have been tilting at this windmill for the better part of 2 decades. They have convinced very few people, in the face of the mountain of evidence that Chicxulub DID kill them off. And they have way too much of their careers and emotional capital invested to have objective views on this subject. And the press coverage of this single paper has been bordering on sensationalism, at the expense of confusing people about the true state of this 'controversy'.
