RE Kaku...quote below...in response to a question RE justifying/evaluating alien intelligence.
"Imagine walking down a country road, and meeting an ant hill. Do we go down to the ants and say, 'I bring you trinkets. I bring you beads. I give you nuclear energy and biotechnology. Take me to your leader?' Or do we have the urge to step on a few of them??"
HE has the urge to step on a few of them!
HE thinks about trinkets and nukes!
HE sees everything with the same limited viewpoint as all Humans who are stuck with self-endowed superior intellect.
HE does not speak for Humanity.
HE does speak for one POV...eloquently...but still seriously limited by virtue of his being hisself.
