Can you say 'bye-bye' Virgin Galactic as Space Tourism's standardbearer?
This is fantastic news...from hauling celebs to saving the planet...it sounds like Sir Richard plans to award the Virgin Earth Challenge Prize to hisself.
Probably needs the $$$ after this fiasco.
Somebody tell him that he needs to start putting Virgin CDs into recycled paper sleeves instead of plastic while he's at it.
Take a look at the link from my name to learn how far behind the curve these guys are.
All of the new "Virgin goes Green" stuff means zero when one realizes that I suggested all this and more back in the dark ages of The New Space Race...the previous Millennium.
It's worth a look...Antarctica embossed with Sir Richard's Carbon Footprint is worth the click.
